A
American Girl Bingo: Get everyone blotting their way towards a cherished doll!
Art Auction: Gather art from church members and friends and hold an auction.
Art Sales: Have students produce art and have a show. Parents and friends buy back their masterpieces.
Ask Everyone: Carry a sponsor/donation form with you so you can ask everyone!
Auction (Silent or Live): Hold the event at your business, in your neighborhood, at church, or at your event. Ask for contributions of unique items such as homemade toys or art, a hand-knitted sweater, breakfast or dinner at someone's home, or a ride on someone's sailboat. Display the items (or their description) prior to the event. Hold the auction over lunch or at a convenient time.
Auction At Work: Auction off a day off at work, or a prime parking space for a month.

B
“Baby” Sales: Sell paper babies for $1 to display somewhere special to promote awareness or in honor of or in memoriam.
Babysitter Service: Your team members babysit and the proceeds go toward the team!
Bake Sale: Host a bake sale or, have a No-Bake Sale, where coworkers pay so they don't have to bake!
Balloon Day: Sell a balloon with a message attached for $2. Take orders in advance and deliver the balloons later.
Balloon Messages To Heaven: Send a message heaven-ward in memory of someone (use biodegradable balloons).
Barbeque Lunches: Prepare and sell barbeque lunches.
Basket Bingo: Play bingo for Longaberger products.
Battle Of The Bands: Hold an event where local bands play – charge an admission.
Birthday Party with a Purpose: Send out invitations asking that in lieu of gifts, each guest bring a check made out to the PCC!
Block Party: Have a neighborhood block party. Sell food and charge admission.
Book Sale: Dust those bookshelves and have a sale.
Boss for a Day: Allow people to bid on being boss for the day. High bid wins!
Bowl-A-Thon: Bowlers get pledges for each pin they knock down, then come and participate.
Bracelets: String beaded bracelets and sell them for awareness or beauty!
Buffet Lunch: Everyone on the team brings food, and guests are charged $5 for all you can eat, or take-out or $10 for both.

Car Auction or Drawing: Get a local business or a volunteer to donate an old car and auction it off or have a drawing.
Car Show: Hold a car show and have local folks make a donation to have their car participate.
Car Washes: Good for students and adults, alike.
Cook-Offs: Anything that can be cooked can be turned into a contest! Charge entry fees, judging fees, etc.
Craft Fairs: Great for year-round fundraising. Set up a booth at a local festival.

D
Dance: Students or adults organize a dance. Ask a DJ or band to donate services.
Day of Cleaning Raffle: Team members donate a suggested five hours to spring/fall house-clean your home for $5 each.
Day Spa: Provide hair cuts, manicures, and massages for a fee – donations go to the PCC.
Dedicate your effort to a special person: Honor a baby whose mother chose life or in memory of a baby lost.
Dinners – Pork, Pig Roasts, Spaghetti: Setup a dinner at a local hall, get as much food donated as possible, and get the word out….
Dog Walkers: Walk the neighbors' dog for a donation. Or, Dog Sit while pet owners are on vacation or hold a Dog Wash!
Donut Days: Get donuts donated (or at half-price) from a local bakery and sell at work or school.
Dress Down Days: Ask your company CEO/President to let staff dress casual for a $5.00 or more donation.

Email: Send an e-mail to your address book (personal and/or corporate) about why you are involved and how they can help.
Errand Service: Run an errand service for those who don't have time to do their own.

F
Face Painting: Set up a booth at a local event, fair or festival.
Fishing Tournament: Set an amount, and hold a fishing tournament. Charge an entry fee.
Formal Dress Sale Fundraiser: Women often have bridesmaid and prom dresses from formal events. Plan a sale of these items.
Fry Day Friday: A restaurant agrees to donate a dime from every order of fries sold.

Game Night: Everyone comes to your house to play board games, charades, etc. Sell tickets for a donation, and ask everyone to bring food to share.
Guess The Number: Have people guess the # of jelly beans or other candy or item in a container.
Gutter Clean Out: Clean out rain gutters in a neighborhood for a donation.

H
Hair Cuts: Have local salons hold a “cut-a-thon” with all proceeds going to the PCC.
Hat (or Cap) Day: (Great for schools) For a specified amount, students can wear baseball caps to school for the day.
Horseshoe Tournament: Host a horseshoe tournament to raise money! Charge an entry donation and get prizes donated!

I
Ice Cream Social Plan one at your place or work, at school, or for friends, asking for a donation to attend.

J
Jewelry Sale: Make new jewelry or collect old jewelry and have a sale!

K
Karaoke: Let folks get up and sing for a fixed donation. Allow others to make a fixed donation to get them to STOP singing.

L
Lawn Service: Mow lawns for donations.
Lunch with the CEO: Auction or raffle off lunch, or maybe a round of golf, with the CEO or President of your company.

M
Magical Mondays: Work out an arrangement with your employer to make flavorful Hazelnut or French Vanilla coffee in place of the regular every Monday and request a dollar donation for a steamy cup from co-workers. (Supplying real creamer works well!) Include a sign that explains The Challenge For Life. Of course, you can add other neat touches – donuts, bagels, etc., also for a $1 donation.
Massages: Have a local business provide massages for a “donation” to the PCC… Sell the idea as good publicity for them.
Matching Gifts: If your company has a matching gift program, you can double your fundraising efforts. Check with your human resources department.

N
Neighborhood Slam: Visit a neighborhood and tell them you will be back in two weeks to do chores for donations.

O
Odd Jobs: Ask to do odd jobs for neighbors for a donation.

P
Pancake Breakfasts: Hold a pancake breakfast at work, or at a church or social hall.
Payroll Deduction: Employees can make their own contributions by having them deducted directly from their paychecks.
Pet Fashion Show: Pets flaunt favorite outfits! Charge admission and vote for the best outfit, matching outfits (owner and pet), wildest outfit, etc.
Pet Rabies Vaccination Clinic: Ask a vet to donate the proceeds from a Rabies Clinic for a day.
Pet Photo Day: Pose pets in front of scenes and props for $5 or $7 – Package prints if possible!
Photo Contest: Hold a “stumper” photo contest! Ask employees to bring a baby or childhood photo of themselves that they believe no one can identify. Ask for a donation to make a guess. Give winners a contributed prize.
Photos with Celebrities: Take photos with a celebrity (or a realistic cardboard stand in) for a donation. Do this at work or at a local fair or festival.
Pie Sales/Auctions: Sell for a specified price, or have a live auction.
Pie In The Face Contest!: Place a picture of each person “to be pied” on a jar. If you wanted a person to be pied at the end of the contest you put money in that person’s jar. Keep a running chart (money is counted every day and updated.) The top number individuals with the most money in their jar have to sit and allow people to buy a pie (whip crème) for a $1.00 (larger pies were $2.00) to throw at the person of choice. What makes this so fun is people who are “to be pied” will try to get out of having to be in the contest by putting money in others so that their jar would not have the most money in it.
Pizza Fest: Hold a Pizza-fest in a local downtown area and get local pizzerias to donate pizzas… Have the community provide a flat donation to participate, and have prizes for the best pizzeria as voted by the attendees!
Pizza Sales: Work with a local pizza parlor to give you a percentage of the pies that you sell. Take orders and deliver them. You can also work with a wholesaler to get pizzas at a reduced price. Put flyers in the boxes!

Q
Quarters for Life: Empty film canisters hold $7 worth of quarters. Collect, distribute and fill and watch it add up!
Questions For A Buck: Your boss is constantly being asked questions, have s/he charge $1 for each question.
Quilts: Sell quilt squares in honor or memory of babies – make a quilt!

R
Races: Bathtub races, wacky raft, buggy.... create an event!
Raffle: Get some good items donated and hold a raffle.
Read-A-Thon: Donations by book or minutes read – people raise money through this.
Ribbons on Mailboxes: Sell white ribbons which symbolize the Sanctity of Human Life to hang on mailboxes.
Roll Those Pennies: And, while you're at it, roll all those coins that have been collecting.
Romance: Cater a romantic dinner for two.
Roundup: Have a local business ask customers to roundup for the Challenge For Life. ($22 payment, $21.22 bill = $0.78 in the jar).

Sabotage: Place jars in different parts of your business (different offices). Each week, the area with the most amount of money in its jar loses), so it encourages you to fill up your competitors’ jars… Add cool contests and run it for several weeks!
Shave Your Head: Someone agrees to shave his/her head if a certain amount is raised.
Shoe Shines: Pick a spot populated by men (and women) in need of shoe shines.
Shutter Bug Mania: Take candid photos around work or school and sell them.
Sign Your Life T-Shirt: For a donation, a contributor can sign the name of a baby to honor on your Life T-shirt.
Skunk’em: A stuffed skunk is placed on desks at work. For $, the skunk will go away; people can pay for anti-skunk insurance.
Spaghetti Sauce Contest: Sell the noodles and let people taste and judge different sauces.
Story Time Reading: Invite employees, friends and church members to bring their children (for a donation).
Student/Faculty Basketball Game: Charge admission; sell concessions.

T
Tacky Day: Wear your tackiest clothes and pay for the privilege!
Taste of the Day: First, decide on a food theme. All volunteers bring a dish and guests make a donation of $5 for all you can eat, $5 for a standard take-out container or $10 for both.
Ten For Ten: Ask one person each day for 10 days for $10 . . . $100.
Toilet Seat Wreath: Take a new toilet seat, decorate it and send it around the office. For a donation you'll remove it and send it else where!
Tupperware Party: Donate the proceeds from the party to your team.

U
Umbrellas For Life: Rain at your event? Be enterprising, and bring Umbrellas for a donation.

V
Vacation Day Drawing: Get your company to agree to let you raffle a day off with pay, with the money raised going to the team.
Vending Machines: Coordinate with your vendor to add 5 cents to the price of a snack or drink, extra nickels go to your team.
Vendors: Solicit your vendors for items to raffle or auction off.
Video Sale: Sell those videos that you have watched a hundred times!
Volleyball Tournament: The game + concessions = FUN AND MONEY!

W
Wacky Races: Using animals in a humane manner you might consider pig races, turtle races, or a run for the rodents! Charge entry fee!
Wait Tables: Work with a restaurant that will let you serve as waiters, collecting tips for Life!
Window Washing: Either commercial or residential, for a donation.
Windshield Washing: Fast food restaurant teams can collect donations for washing windshields as cars pass through the drive up.
Wishing You Well: Set up a “wishing well” at your school or business, with a sign explaining that all proceeds go toward the PCC!
Write A Letter: Have the letter explain why you are involved. People will be moved to sponsor you.

X
Xylophone Concert: Hold a music concert or recital. Pass refreshments and a donation can, or sell tickets.

Y
Yard Sales: Individually or as a team, turn your trash into someone else's treasure.
Yard Sale and Fair: A large-scale yard sale coupled with a small-scale fair!
Yard Sale Saturday: Have every team that’s willing to participate hold a Life Yard Sale on the same day!

Z
Zoot Suit Party: It’s about Swing Music. Hold a dance. Give awards for the best Zoot Suit there.
